Procession
Do you want to take part in Cowley Road Carnival when the whole street comes alive with music, food, entertainment and family fun? The highlight of the afternoon is the Cowley Road Carnival Procession and everyone from Oxford is welcome to apply to join in. The theme this year is "Time of our Lives: Culture and Places" so get your thinking caps on and think about what that means to you.
We are also having a section of the procession called Clockwork Cavalcade. This section is for groups or individuals to invent weird and wonderful man-powered machines, let your imagination run riot! So if you're a school, community group, a dance or music group, a family or simply an individual who wants to take part, please contact Anya at procession@cowleyroadworks.org for more information.
Buskers
We are now welcoming applications to busk at the Carnival! Musicians will be given a space and allocated time to perform either in South Park or along Cowley Road. It's free to perform, but if you collect money then we ask that at least 10% goes towards Cowley Road Carnival.
