Rachel is a community dance artist living in East Oxford and has been involved in Carnival here for eight years, working with schools and families, teaching them Carnival Dance. She has been a Trustee for Cowley Road Works for just under a year and her areas of interest are the procession and educational aspects of the Carnival.
Artistic Director and CEO of Pegasus Theatre in Oxford, Euton has a strong affinity with Carnival and much production experience to contribute to Carnival.
Karen handled media relations for Carnival for two years, before joining board as a Trustee in November 2011. An Oxford-based PR consultant, she brings knowledge of and connections with the city's media organisations.
John has worked in theatre production, community arts, arts management and education. He moved with his family to East Oxford in 1988, and has been active in cultural, arts, and education spheres nationally and in and around Oxford, and a director/trustee of several arts/cultural organisations.
A broadcaster/lecturer and founder member of OX4 FM, Geno is a long time supporter of and contributor to Carnival in Oxford.
Junie is founder and director of ACKHI (African Caribbean Kultural Heritage Initiative) and a member of the board of Oxford Inspires. She has been involved in Carnival since its inception in Oxford.
Development Manager at Oxford Playhouse, Jo brings years of experience as a fundraiser, and personal support for Carnival as a local resident.
Zaheer is an accounts executive, Treasurer of the Asian Cultural Centre and administrator and book-keeper for the Mosque on Manzil Way. He performs the valuable task of keeping the Cowley Road Works accounts in good order.
Brian is a chartered accountant and has held senior financial and commercial positions in the service the service industry (Group Finance Director at CPM, the Thame head-quartered multi-national sales organisation). He is also a Trustee and Treasurer of the National Deaf Children's Society.
Paul has worked in the public and voluntary sector and has recently taken on a role in community development at Oxford City Council. As a resident of East Oxford, Paul has been involved in the Cowley Road Carnival since it began in 2001.
